Jeff reacts with some mathematics for the Tornado tragedy in Nashville,TN that touchdown early morning on March 3, 2020. This was an impromptu post on what was learned during the response to the need of the community. Jeff highlights the area of North Nashville particularly because of the looming effect of gentrification and pressing poverty in the area. The media coverage was slow initially until the responding community took notice.

The mathematics of the situation were very apparent. As a respondent to emergencies we must be willing to have short term and long term vision. We also should be pooling resources with like minded people year round. This will empower us to be effective change leaders in the community.
